A drift in a Dino

South of Sydney in New South Wales, a road twists through the gullies of a tall gum forest. Many of its bends curl around cliff faces, climbing all the while, then open out gradually. You can place a car tight to the wall going into them, screw on power and sweep through, flowing out with the bend. As you exit, you will grab another gear, perhaps two, on the run to the next.

You’re driving this road today in a Ferrari Dino 246 GT. It’s into fourth now, cam chains whirring and exhausts howling as the V6 claws past 6600rpm, heading for the 7800 redline. But then comes a trickster of a corner, one that hides its true nature to lure drivers in too fast.
