The first half of the 2021 Formula 1 season has been one of the best we’ve seen for a very long time. Since the start of the current V6 hybrid era in 2014 we’ve pretty much arrived at a track on Thursday expecting to see a Mercedes win on Sunday. Occasionally a Ferrari or Red Bull would beat the Benzes to the flag, but before the end of the year, sure enough, it would be Lewis Hamilton celebrating yet another championship.
Now that we’re in F1’s summer break, here are the five reasons I’m loving F1 2021 and why I’m so looking forward to the second half of the year.
