Ask Max Verstappen after his NLS (Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie) entry, Lance Stroll, who recently made his GT World Challenge debut at Paul Ricard or Kimi Antonelli, who has spoken of his desire to once again sample GT3 machinery with his family team, why they remain attracted to this far slower, heavier, road car-derived category of racing, and they will almost certainly cite ‘pure racing’ as at least one reason.
