You may never have heard of RML Group, but you’ll be aware of its work. In car manufacturer boardrooms across the country and beyond, the company’s name is spoken in the same reverential tones as more visible firms like Lotus Engineering, Williams Advanced Engineering and Prodrive. They are engineering consultancies, but fixers, too, ready and waiting to unload their design and manufacturing expertise upon whatever muddle it is that’s lumbering its way over the crest of the hill.
