Rally drivers: A cut above?

I saw two tweets recently that made me think. One basically declared rally drivers the best in all motorsport, while the other was pretty unsavoury and about Jimmie Johnson running around at the back of the IndyCar grid.

It’s said that politics and religion are the two topics in life that spark debate, but for fans of motorsport, arguing about who the best drivers are has to be right up there.
