We’re upgrading our membership platform!

Last month it was our new, custom-built app – today, we’re upgrading our membership platform. The second of two very significant infrastructure improvements will make the user experience on The Intercooler slicker and simpler for everybody, and it will enable us to grow our subscriber base faster than ever before.

So what are we asking you to do? Later this afternoon you will be automatically logged out of the app and website. When you go to log back in, you will be asked to enter your email address. This should, of course, be the email address you have registered with us. You will receive an email right away – you can either click the link therein, or enter the unique code within the email into the app or website. And that’s it. The entire process will take seconds.

Everybody will benefit. New subscribers and gift buyers will be able to checkout in no time at all using Google Pay or Apple Pay. Meanwhile, existing subscribers will be able to switch from a monthly to an annual subscription, or vice versa, at the touch of a button via the My Account page on the website, where they will also be able to manage all of their account information, change payment cards and more. In time we will be able to introduce clever things like a referral scheme, too, giving subscribers the chance to save on their own subscription by referring a friend.
