McLaren P1 v McLaren 765LT

Could a modern supercar possibly stay the pace of a genuine hypercar from just 10 years ago? Andrew Frankel thought McLaren might have the answer

When Woman Maths goes bad

A lot has happened since Helen Wakerley first shared her fascination with the Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution. It was love at first sight. And then she bought one…

If you saw our world-first display of every Ultimate Series McLaren hypercar – including an F1 – in April last year, or our gathering of several of the most significant Bentleys in existence back in spring, you’ll know we’ve been working with Bicester Motion for some time.

That partnership has now been formalised as The Intercooler becomes an official media partner of Bicester Motion, giving us even better access to the wonderful people, businesses, cars, events and facilities on site. Over the next two years, we’ll be recording podcasts at Bicester Motion, using the test track for our own photoshoots, getting to know the businesses little and large that call Bicester Motion home and, best of all, hosting live events that we look forward to inviting The Intercooler community along to.

You will continue to find us at Bicester Motion’s Scramble events too – if you’re going to be there on 5 October, please stop by and say hello.

For us, this announcement is confirmation of something we’ve said from the very beginning – that we would only work with the very best and never partner with anyone who was not a natural fit for us. Indeed it’s hard to think of another organisation whose passion for cars and appetite for innovation is more closely aligned to our way of thinking than Bicester Motion.

We hope to see you at Bicester Motion very soon.
