Ford Focus ST Edition review

Ford has added some choice bits to what is likely to be the final Focus ST. But, asks Andrew Frankel, do they actually improve the car?

Gallery: Nürburgring 1000 Kilometer Race

If you weren't able to make the Goodwood Revival over the weekend, perhaps you were fortunate enough to be at the Nürburgring for the 1000 Kilometer Race. Judging by these...

If you saw our world-first display of every Ultimate Series McLaren hypercar – including an F1 – in April last year, or our gathering of several of the most significant Bentleys in existence back in spring, you’ll know we’ve been working with Bicester Motion for some time.

That partnership has now been formalised as The Intercooler becomes an official media partner of Bicester Motion, giving us even better access to the wonderful people, businesses, cars, events and facilities on site. Over the next two years, we’ll be recording podcasts at Bicester Motion, using the test track for our own photoshoots, getting to know the businesses little and large that call Bicester Motion home and, best of all, hosting live events that we look forward to inviting The Intercooler community along to.

You will continue to find us at Bicester Motion’s Scramble events too – if you’re going to be there on 5 October, please stop by and say hello.

Speed awareness courses: still worth it?

These courses have helped keep roads safer, but by how much? And do they now need rethinking? Serial attendee Ben Oliver takes a look

The FIA’s deafening silence

The announcement from the F1 Commission meeting on Monday this week has done little to satisfy fans around the world. Of course there are due processes and any decisions...

Daniel Geoghegan, CEO of Bicester Motion, was kind enough to say he was ‘delighted to be partnering’ with us. ‘We share a passion for pushing the boundaries and thinking outside of the box, and I look forward to seeing how that comes together at Bicester Motion over the next two years,’ he added.

For us, this announcement is confirmation of something we’ve said from the very beginning – that we would only work with the very best and never partner with anyone who was not a natural fit for us. Indeed it’s hard to think of another organisation whose passion for cars and appetite for innovation is more closely aligned to our way of thinking than Bicester Motion.

We hope to see you at Bicester Motion very soon.
