This is, of course, the Taycan for which we, the Porsche bores, have been waiting. We’re that tedious tribe who’ve been telling you for years why a base 911 Carrera is soooo very much better than a Turbo S. We say things like ‘less is more’ and ‘genius is simplicity’. This new entry level Taycan is not only 90kg lighter because it only has one motor, it’s rear wheel drive too. So of course it’s the one to have. Except for the inconvenient fact that it’s not.
